Towed after a crash?
A crash tow is different from a parking tow. The tow and storage bill is real, but it is usually the smallest number in the picture: there is a vehicle claim, possibly an injury claim, and a storage meter running while the insurance companies take their time.
Were you injured, or hit by someone? A crash tow usually means an insurance claim and sometimes a legal claim. You can send the basics to Dan Swenson, the Minnesota attorney who built this site, for a free look. No pressure and no obligation; if a lawyer isn't worth your time, Dan will say so.
Who you would be contacting
Daniel C. Swenson, Minnesota attorney at Robert Wilson & Associates, 404 3rd Ave N, Suite 201, Minneapolis, MN 55401 (attorney registration no. 0396275). MN Tow Buddy is built and paid for by Dan; sending an inquiry sends it to him at Robert Wilson & Associates and nowhere else. It is never sold or shared. Sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Attorney advertising.

Until it is, the direct line works the same way: call or text Dan at Robert Wilson & Associates and say your car was towed after a crash. Free look, no obligation.

Meanwhile, three things worth doing today:
- Tell your insurer where the car is and authorize them to inspect or move it; storage accrues daily until someone acts.
- Get your belongings out: the lot must release essentials whether or not the bill is paid.
- Keep every receipt, including the tow invoice; crash-related tow and storage costs are often part of the claim.
